I became a Nutritionist because I love food!  

I especially love how food can be our most powerful and effective medicine.

After gaining an Honours Degree at Manchester University in Philosophy and Psychology, I then trained in Nutrition at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London, UK and qualified in 2002. I spent many years in private clinics and also at Higher Nature, a well known and highly respected UK supplement company advising clients on Nutritional Protocols, designing Practitioner Education Modules and contributing to the development of new products and formulas.

I have also studied, and used, Live Blood Microscopy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathic techniques, and Nutrigenomics (how the food we eat affects the expression of our genes and therefore our health), and have worked with well known and inspirational Practitioners in the UK. 

I use thorough Nutritional evaluation to assess your health concerns and where necessary, Functional Testing to bring a clearer focus and help pinpoint where nutritional or functional imbalances may lie.

I don't identify specifically with any particular camp - be it paleo, raw food, low carb, high fat etc.  I concentrate on finding out what works best for you as a unique being. I find that keeping an open mind to each individual case brings the best results.

My aim is to help you to achieve your health and weight loss goals.  I am passionate and experienced and I pride myself on keeping up to date with the latest health and Nutritional Science research. 

My unique Life Laundry programme uses Functional Testing to improve your current health and help prevent future ill health by dealing with current imbalances and deficiencies.
